A grand opening

This week we saw the grand opening of the new location for the UICA (Urban Institute of Contemporary Art) in the “Old Fed,” Grand Rapids. This building is special to me, not just because it’s a beautiful historic space, but because it is where we met a community of artists in our new city when the very first ArtPrize was hosted here, over 12 years ago.
